  I stopped at the Walgreens in Tinley Park and was informed by the customer service that they did not carry one of my son’s medications. She stated that she is unable to tell me which Walgreens has that specific medication at their store. When I ask her whether she could call the Walgreens in Hyde Park she stated that she does not have the number to that store or to any other Walgreens and she is unable to retrieve the phone number. Furthermore she stated that I should look for the number myself and contact the Walgreens in Hyde Park and ask whether they carry that medication. I left the Walgreens in Tinley and contacted the Walgreens in Hyde Park on my way to Hyde Park, just to find out from their customer service/pharmacy tech, Simon, that this information regarding the availability of the medication can not be disclosed to me/or the patient (Walgreens policy) and the only way to find out is to take the Rx to Hyde Park in person or have the Tinley Park Walgreens call the Hyde Park location for this info. Therefore I drove back to Tinley (distance between these two pharmacies are about 15 miles!) and gave the pharmacy tech the number to Hyde Park store so she could call and inquire about the availability!!
